Man Found With Stolen Gun From VA, Ammo In Pants Pocket In Atlantic City: Police A wanted man from Absecon was accused of having a stolen gun from Virginia, authorities said. Atlantic City police arrested 43-year-old David Toney, the department said in a news release on Thursday, Sept. 12.  Officers stopped Toney while he was driving on the first block of South Kentucky Avenue at around 6:01 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Poice then learned he had an active arrest warrant and he was taken into custody. Police found ammunition in his pants pocket and the stolen gun inside his vehicle. Dywann Pugh, 44, was sentenced on Wednesday, July 10 to 10 years in federal prison, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release. Trenton police said they found Joseph Moore walking along the 100 block of Turpin St. with the rifle and a high-capacity magazine containing 50 rounds of ammunition on Monday, June 10 at about 5:20 p.m. He was charged with several weapons offenses.
