Hit-Run Mays Landing Driver Kills Dog, Injures 25-Year-Old Man: Police A man and his dog were struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday, Nov. 30, in Atlantic County, authorities said. The crash occurred shortly after midnight at the intersection of Highland Boulevard and Marlborough Avenue in Absecon, where the dog was killed. The man, identified as a 25-year-old Absecon resident, was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said. Driver Sought After Camden Woman, 41, Killed In Hit-And-Run: Prosecutors Police were looking for the driver who killed a Camden woman in a hit-and-run crash, authorities said. Carla Mahan, 41, died in the crash on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release.
