Man Who Tried To Rob Woman At Atlantic City Intersection Pleads Guilty, Prosecutors Say An Atlantic City man admitted to jumping into a woman's car at an intersection and trying to rob her, authorities said. Eugene Shirk, 33, pleaded guilty on Friday, Nov. 1 to second-degree attempted robbery, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release.  Atlantic City police responded to the intersection of South Carolina and Adriatic avenues at around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 13, 2023.
