The death of a respected veterinarian who owned a Haddon Heights clinic was being investigated as a homicide, authorities said. The homicide investigation into the death of 45-year-old Dr. Michael Anthony of Cherry Hill was confirmed by a spokesperson for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Dr. Anthony was the owner of Haddon Vet, a clinic on Second Avenue. Carriage Horse Likely Died From Cardiac Event While Pulling Cape May Tourists, Necropsy Says
A horse that died while pulling a carriage of tourists in Cape May was likely killed by cardiac arrest or a blood clot, according to a necropsy. An 18-year-old Percheron gelding named Ice died suddenly "in a very public setting" on Thursday, June 27, the Cape May Carriage Company said in a Facebook post.
