A 24-year-old Neptune Township man died on Wednesday, March 5 after being stabbed on Tuesday, March 4 in Neptune City, authorities said. A 17-year-old was arrested and charged on Tuesday, March 4, after they brought a knife to South Brunswick High School, forcing a lockdown, authorities said. At 2:15 p.m., a South Brunswick High School staff member said two students reported another student had made threatening statements and had a knife, South Brunswick police said. A live hand grenade was discovered in Philadelphia, prompting a swift police response, authorities announced on Monday, March 3. Officers from the 3rd District were called to the 1000 block of South 4th Street at 12:19 p.m. after reports of a device, police said.
