Motorcyclist Escapes Serious Injury After Crash In Jackson: Police
A motorcyclist escaped serious injury after she crashed in Jackson on Friday afternoon, July 26, authorities said. She crashed at about 2:15 p.m. at the corner of North New Prospect and Farmingdale roads, according to Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz. The unidentified rider complained of arm, shoulder and back pain and was taken to an area hospital, the chief said. No other details were immediately available.

There was a four-car collision during rush hour on Tuesday, July 23 on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 8:20 a.m. southbound at milepost 131.4 in Woodbridge, according to New Jersey State Police. Two men were injured when the second-story deck of a home collapsed in Ocean County, authorities said. Long Beach police responded to the home on Arnold Boulevard at around 1:48 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, the department said in a Facebook post on Monday, July 15. A firefighter was injured battling a fire in a storage barn at Rutgers University in North Brunswick, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 at the Horticultural Farm property at Rutgers Gardens, according to a university spokeswoman. A 46-year-old man from South Brunswick was hospitalized after a car rolled over him as he sat in front of it in an attempt to prevent his girlfriend from leaving, police said. The man and his 37-year-old girlfriend were arguing outside of a Harvey Road home around 7:30 a.m. Monday, July 8, when the man sat in front of the vehicle, according to police.
