Winner: South Jersey Powerball Player Takes Home $50K

There was a lucky Powerball player in South Jersey, state Lottery officials said.

The prize was worth $50,000.

The winning numbers for the Monday, Jan. 8 drawing were 7, 17, 28, 40 and 45 and the Powerball was 2. The Powerplay option was 3x.

The winning ticket was sold at the Village Store, 50 Magnolia Road, Pemberton in Burlington County.
