Route 73 To Remain Closed Overnight Following Crash That Downed Power Lines: Police A portion of Route 73 will remain closed overnight following a crash on Thursday, Sept. 12. The crash involved a vehicle that struck a utility pole in front of the Lukoil at 921 North Route 73 in Mount Laurel around noon, police said.  PSE&G was called to the scene as power lines fell, blocking the roadway and Fellowship Road. While no injuries were reported, the road was expected to reopen sometime Friday, Sept. 13.

The vehicle struck a utility pole in front of Bagel King on West County Line Road in Jackson Township on Tuesday, July 30, police Chief Matthew Kunz said. A Facebook user posted a picture of the damage from the crash at around 7:25 a.m. The picture showed a dark-colored vehicle on its side. The utility pole was damaged and wires were hanging low over the crash site. One person in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, Chief Kunz said.

Neither the Honda Pilot nor the driver who was making a cellphone call in a sedan parked in the 500 block of Harristown Road was injured in the afternoon crash, responders said.
