A 21-year-old man wanted for a New Jersey burglary was pulled over in Hewlett and found with an illegal gun, a USPS jacket, and credit card scam equipment, Nassau County police said.
Loquinne Mathis Jr., of Beach 101st Street in Rockaway Park, was driving a 2009 Mazda westbound on Main Street near Howland Road in East Rockaway when Fourth Precinct officers spotted the vehicle with no front license plate, according to detectives.

A man is at large after police say he brandished a firearm during a road rage incident in Cape May County on Thursday, Feb. 6, authorities said.
At 12:37 p.m., the suspect, was driving a black Cadillac SUV when he had an altercation with a USPS postal worker, while traveling northbound on the State Highway 50 bridge in Upper Township, New Jersey State Police said. A 34-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash with a USPS mail truck Saturday in South Jersey, police said.
Michael P. Giannetta Jr., of Galloway, was heading westbound on W. White Horse Pike on a 2019 Suzuki GSX when he struck the driver's side of a mail truck at the intersection of Upas Avenue entering the intersection around 2:50 p.m., Galloway Township police said.
