South Jersey Middle Schoolers Hospitalized After Eating Marijuana Gummies
Four Camden County middle school students were treated at a hospital after they ate marijuana gummies, authorities said. A student at Phifer Middle School in Pennsauken brought the gummies from home on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, Feb. 14 and shared them with other students, Pennsauken Schools Superintendent Ronnie Tarchichi said in a letter to parents. A "medical hazmat" incident was reported at a day. care center and elementary school in the City of Camden, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. There was a report at about noon on Wednesday, March 30 that a child had drunk milk contaminated with hand sanitizer at St|Riletta T. Cream Early Childhood Center at 1875 Mulford St. There was an earlier unconfirmed report that busloads of hazmat victims had been transported to Cooper University Hospital.
