An 11-year-old boy was severely burned when he poured gasoline on a backyard bonfire, NJ Advance Media reported. EMS crews responded to 198 Ramblewood Parkway in Mount Laurel Township at 6:15 p.m. after neighbors reported an explosion, initial reports said. As the child poured gas on the fire, flames traveled to the gas can, which exploded while the boy was holding it, the outlet reports citing Mount Laurel police. Mom, Baby In Stroller Critical After Being Struck On Route 13
A mother and her baby in a stroller were in critical condition after bing struck by a vehicle, which was then rear-ended by another Saturday evening on Route 13 authorities said. The mom and her 16-month-old were struck by a southbound vehicle near 2nd Avenue around 8 p.m., Bristol Borough police said. The striking vehicle was then rear ended by a second car also heading south. 8-Year-Old NJ Girl Critical After Falling Into Retention Pond
An 8-year-old girl was in critical condition after falling into a retention pond near her home Thursday afternoon in Burlington County, authorities said. Crews resuscitated the girl after finding her in a body near the 100 block of Colemantown Drive in Chesterfield around 4 p.m., Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Joel Bewley told Daily Voice. She was flown to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and remains critical, he said. The girl had reportedly left her nearby home a short while earlier, said Bewley, calling the incident "accidental and tragic."
