A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was purchased at a convenience store in Burlington County, officials said.
The winner was sold at gud2go Food Store on Route 70 West in Marlton, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Thursday, Aug. 15. The ticket was in the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
The winning numbers were 8, 9, 23, 29, and 62. The Powerball was 13.
Another big winner was purchased in the Garden State. A ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a convenience store in Laurel Springs.

A 47-year-old South Jersey man is accused of selling fake health supplements online while pocketing more than $130,000, authorities said.
Brad Snyder of Marlton was charged with counterfeiting, theft by deception and computer criminal activity, Evesham police said.
On Tuesday, Sept. 26, Evesham Police detectives, with the assistance of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, executed a search warrant and arrest warrant in the 100 building of Woodhollow Drive, Marlton, and a separate search warrant at a public storage facility in the first block of Route 70 West, Marlton.
