The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing kayaker in Raritan Bay off Keyport. Zhenjing Ding is 74 years old. He is 5’6” tall and weighs 140 to 160 pounds. A wind-whipped brush fire broke out near Raritan Bay and the Belford Seafood Co-op, destroying harbor boats, hundreds of lobster pots and a couple of trailers, authorities said. Coast Guard: One Dead After Boat Capsizes On Raritan Bay
One person died after a boat capsized on the Raritan Bay Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard said. A good Samaritan pulled the victim's body from the water after the boat overturned near Keyport around 10 a.m., and immediately began CPR, reports say.
