: Sick Pitbull Puppies Found Shivering In NJ Woods
Shivering. Defenseless. Alone. This was how three pitbull puppies were found last week in a wooded area of New Jersey. A keen-eyed driver going past the Wildlife Management Area in Millville spotted one puppy sitting on the side of the road, as if waiting for someone, on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Dozen Pets Rescued From Passaic County Owner's Side Days After Death
Eleven dogs and one cat were rescued from their owner’s side days after she passed away in her Passaic County home, officials said. The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI) and Second Chance Pet Adoption League joined forces to bring in the dozen animals in the "distressing" animal welfare situation in Haledon, rescuers said in a news release. A 6-year-old German Shepherd given a second chance at life by a North Jersey man gave him the same in return last week Hero Sadie was home alone with her new owner Brian last week when he had a stroke. The dog licked her owner's face to keep him awake and then dragged him to his phone to call for help. Brian says he has Sadie to thank for his life.
