A 31-year-old farmworker died of an apparent drowning at Sunset Lake in Bridgeton on Sunday evening, July 21, authorities said. Marco Lemus-Giron of Hopewell Township, went swimming about 45 minutes after lifeguards had left the beach which closed for the day at 6 p.m., Bridgeton police said. A North Wildwood man was accused of dropping and swinging his baby son while high on PCP, authorities said. David Fletcher III, 38, was arrested on Tuesday, July 2, the North Wildwood Police Department said in a news release on Thursday, July 11. Man Admits To Having Explosive Devices While Overdosing In Mother's South Jersey Home: Feds
A Mays Landing man admitted to having four explosive devices when police responded to him overdosing on drugs, authorities said. Robert Moser, 32, pleaded guilty on Monday, July 8 to possessing destructive devices, New Jersey's U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a news release.
