A truck driver was hospitalized after running off Route 55 in Deptford, authorities said. A portion of Route 55 was closed for more than two hours due to the crash on Wednesday, July 24, according to the NJDOT. Troopers responded at about 4 p.m. on Route 55 north milepost 59.6, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a New Jersey State Police spokesman. South Jersey Firefighters Battle Major House Fire
Firefighters in Camden County were battling a fast-moving two-alarm house fire, authorities said. The fire was reported late Monday afternoon at 1456 Louis St. in the City of Camden, initial reports said. Heavy fire was seen shooting out from the second-floor of the vacant property, reports said. The fire spread to adjoining structures on the property, according to an unconfirmed report.
