SWAT Standoff: Man Standing On Church Steeple Points Long Gun At Officers In Philly, Police Say
A barricade situation involving a man standing on a church steeple was unfolding Monday night, May 13 in Philadelphia, police said.
Officers were dispatched to a church on the 700 block of E Cornwall Street around 8:15 p.m. for a man, believed be under the influence of drugs, standing on the steeple of a church, city police said.

Upon arrival, the man pointed a long gun at the officers, leading to the declaration of a barricade situation at 8:41 p.m., police said.

Trio Arrested With Guns After Shots Fired From Atlantic City Hotel Balcony: Police
Two men and a woman were accused of firing gunshots from the balcony of a hotel near the beachfront in Atlantic City, authorities said.
In a news release on Tuesday, May 7, Atlantic City police said 42-year-old Corey Brown of Chesapeake, VA, 43-year-old Malik Dean of Philadelphia, and 41-year-old Zara Griffiths of Paoli, PA, were arrested on Saturday, May 5.
Officers responded to a report of gunshots fired from a balcony at the Club Wyndham Skyline Tower on South North Carolina Avenue at around 10:20 p.m. Police learned that the shots came from a room on the 21st floor.
