PA Supreme Court Upholds Death Sentence Of Police Officer's Killer
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Wednesday again upheld the death sentence of a Bucks County man convicted of killing a police officer over a decade ago, authorities said. Robert Anthony Flor, 54, fatally shot Newtown Borough police officer Brian Gregg on Sept. 29, 2005, while at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office. : Pennsylvania Supreme Court Tosses Trump Campaign's Bucks County Appeal
Pennsylvania's Supreme Court tossed an emergency appeal request filed by Donald Trump's Campaign over less than 2,000 Bucks County election ballots. Trump's campaign sued the Bucks County Board of Elections a week after the election, saying 2,177 absentee and mail-in ballots didn't adhere to code requirements. The suit says those ballots did not have the voter's handwritten name, address or date on the return envelopes, and some were enclosed in "unsealed" privacy envelopes.
