Man, 23, Killed Walking Home From Store With Detergent For Mom In South Jersey, Family Says
A 23-year-old Salem County pedestrian was struck and killed in a crash, authorities said. Alex Medina was killed in the crash on Sunday night, Dec. 17, according to Penns Grove Mayor LaDaena Thomas. Penns Grove police were not immediately available to provide further details. An uncle started a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for Alex’s funeral. The uncle said Alex was struck while walking home from a store to bring his mother laundry detergent and food for his younger brothers. "This pain is unbearable," the uncle wrote. "We can just cut the chase bro -- the gun [is] behind the couch and there's drugs in the cabinet," an impatient six-time convicted felon told police who raided his North Jersey home, federal authorities said. "That sh*t belong to me," Jabbar Pierce, 41, told officers in his Penns Grove apartment who read him his Miranda rights and then recorded his every word, according to a criminal complaint. Needed His TP: Suspect Resembling 'Beavis & Butthead' Character Sought In NJ Business Burglary
Police in South Jersey are seeking a robbery suspect who they say looks jus like a "Beavis & Butthead" character. The bald-headed man was captured on surveillance tapes burglarizing a local business in Penns Grove, authorities said. The man has a gray goatee, no mustache and a full sleeve of tattoos on one arm, while the other arm is only tattooed on the upper portion, Penns Groves police said.
