Atlantic City PD: Burglary Suspect Kicks, Spits At Police Officer A 26-year-old Pleasantville man allegedly kicked and spat at Atlantic City police as they arrested him on burglary charges, authorities said. Shawn Shurig was charged with two counts each of burglary, criminal mischief, theft, and single counts of resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, Atlantic City police said. Shurig is accused of breaking into and damaging two vehicles about 7:45 p.m. on Sunday.
