A Wall Township doctor agreed to give up his license after he was indicted and accused of sexually abusing a child for more than a decade, authorities said. Cornelius Gallagher voluntarily released his medical license through a temporary court order on Monday, Sept. 9, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said in a news release on Thursday, Sept. 12. A Toms River man was accused of shooting another man outside a home near a Lakewood shopping center, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 47-year-old Million Brown-Bey on Wednesday, June 12 for attempted murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, and being a certain person not to possess a firearm. A man who police in Brick found "in a state of active distress" died at Ocean University Medical Center nearly 90 minutes later, authorities said.
