NJ Murder Victim, 21, Killed As Puppy Tried Protecting Her, Campaign Says The victim of a recent murder that rattled a small New Jersey town has been identified in various social media posts and by a campaign launched for her family as a 21-year-old animal lover. Amanda Pulver, of Hackettstown, was shot and killed on Thursday, June 27, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said. Amanda's 8-month-old puppy, Dunkin, was also apparently killed. As reported by Daily Voice, the shooting happened that morning on Alphano Road in Independence Township. Later that day, Anthony Garvin, 34, of Netcong, was arrested in connection with the shooting in Berks County, …

Paterson PD: West Milford Driver Who Picked Up Drug Dealer Had 11-Month-Old Child With Her A suburban driver had her 11-month old infant with her when she picked up a Paterson dealer who was being followed by detectives, authorities said. Investigators who stopped the car driven by Jamie Mahon, 27, of West Milford found a crack vial near the baby, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said. The passenger, Glenn Urena, 38, of Paterson was carrying 50 heroin folds and 10 vials of crack, he said. Wayne Police Bust Trio Following Alleged Knifepoint Robbery At Route 23 Motel Wayne police arrested three transients following an alleged knifepoint robbery at a local motel. Officer Joseph Cobianchi was on patrol when he saw a woman and two men who “appeared to be shouting” and were “visibly upset” in the parking lot of the Days Inn on Route 23, Detective Capt.
