These NJ Communities Violated LGBTQ+ Marriage License Rules: AG
Twenty-eight municipalities statewide have been cited by New Jersey officials for excluding the LGBTQIA+ community in their online marriage license applications. The municipalities face fines of up to $10,000 if they don't fix the problem, the state said. Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division on Civil Rights said DCR has issued Notices of Violation to the municipalities for allegedly violating the Law Against Discrimination by publishing marriage license application forms on their websites that exclude certain LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking to obtain marriage licenses. Burlington Opening Pair Of NJ Stores
Two more New Jersey Burlington stores are on their way. Burlington, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, will be opening one store in Morristown in March and another in Rio Grande in April, its website shows. The Morristown store will be located at 191 E. Hanover Ave., and the Rio Grande store in the Rio Grande Plaza, according to job postings from Burlington. The company is headquartered in Burlington Township and currently operates 44 stores in New Jersey.

UPDATE: A Passaic County man admitted laundering more than $2.8 million in drug cash for international cartels operating in New Jersey and New York, authorities announced. A 19-year-old Morristown man accused last December of sexually assaulting four teen victims is facing new charges for trying to run a child porn distribution ring using material he secretly recorded of his victims, authorities said.
