Covid-19: Burlington City Schools Cancel Fall Sports Season Coronavirus claimed another victim in South Jersey with the cancellation of fall sports by the Burlington City School District. During a Monday night vote, Burlington's Board of Education decided not to pay coaches for football, field hockey, cheerleading and boys and girls soccer.  The nine-member school board needed six votes to OK coaching salaries.
