An 82-year-old passenger was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Jersey Shore, authorities said.
On Thursday, April 7, at approximately 9:59 p.m, Manchester Township police responded to the intersection of State Highway 70 and Manchester Boulevard in the Whiting section of town to investigate a two-car motor vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and sedan, with the occupants of the sedan still inside the vehicle.

Jersey Shore Man Gets 6 Years Prison For Fatal Crash While Loading Furniture: Prosecutor
A 63-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has been sentenced to six years in state prison for leaving the scene of a fatal crash, authorities said.
Kevin Noonan, of Manchester, was sentenced on Friday, April 1, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
The hit-and-run crash on April 13, 2021, killed Jack Gotfried, 69, of Whiting, after Noonan loaded furniture onto his pickup truck, the prosecutor said.

Police ID Lakewood Driver Killed In Route 9 Crash
A 32-year-old man from Lakewood was killed in a collision on Route 9, authorities said.
The crash occurred just after 8 a.m., Wednesday, March 9 on Route 9 at Courtney Road, according to Lakewood police spokesman Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith.
An Infiniti G37, driven by a 23-year-old Lakewood Township man, was headed north on Route 9 when a Chevy Impala attempted to make a left turn onto Courtney Road, Staffordsmith said.
The Impala turned in front of the Infiniti, causing a crash that led the Infiniti to strike a nearby traffic signal, he said.
