Atlantic City police conducted surveillance that resulted in the arrest of two men and the recovery of a handgun and assorted drugs, authorities said. On Wednesday, Sept. 20, Detectives Christopher Dodson and James Barrett were conducting surveillance in the first block of south Mansion Avenue when they allegedly observed Malik Jones of Atlantic City and Camron Izzard of Philadelphia appearing to be dealing drugs, police said. Woman Forced Into Prostitution In Atlantic City By NYC Pair: Police
A woman was forced into prostitution in Atlantic City by a pair from New York City, authorities said. On June 17, at 10:09 a.m., Atlantic City Police Officers Corey Treadway and Tahsin Hossain responded to a motel in the 3000 block of Pacific Avenue for a report of human trafficking. The officers spoke with an individual who reported that they believed a woman was being forced into prostitution. The officers contacted the occupants of a motel room. An anonymous tip texted to an Atlantic City police tipline led to an arrest and recovery of a handgun, authorities said. On Monday, June 12, police acted on information submitted to tip411, the department’s anonymous texting service. The tipster said a man had placed a firearm in the rear of an apartment building. 8 Guns Recovered, 5 Arrested In Atlantic City Firearms Crackdown
Five men have been arrested and eight weapons were recovered in an Atlantic City sweep for illegal firearms, authorities said. At 6:13 a.m. Friday, Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the 800 block of Maryland Avenue in reference to ShotSpotter alert. Patrol officers found evidence of gunfire, according to Lt.
