South Jersey Woman Killed In Collision With Pickup: Police
A 75-year-old woman from Elk Township was killed in a collision with a pickup truck in Gloucester County, authorities said. Georgette Hayes was killed in the crash on the 200 block of Bridgeton Pike at about 8:35 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14, according to Harrison Township police. Hayes' 2012 Ford Fiesta was traveling southbound on Bridgeton Pike (State Highway 77) when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle veered into the northbound lane and struck a 2023 Ford F-150 which was being operated by a Mullica Hill resident, police said. Facebook Marketplace Seller Robbed At Gunpoint In South Jersey: Police
A South Jersey resident selling a laptop computer using social media was robbed at gunpoint, authorities said. At 9:06 p.m. Tuesday, Gloucester County Communications received a 911 call from a Glassboro resident who reported that he had just been robbed at gunpoint. The caller relayed to police dispatch that he had been communicating with someone through Facebook Marketplace to sell them an Apple iPad, Glassboro police said. South Jersey Man Struck By 2 Cars Dies
A 45-year-old pedestrian was killed when he tried to cross a busy five-lane highway in South Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred on Friday at 8:29 p.m, in the 700 block of Mullica Hill Road (Route 322), according to Harrison Township police. John M. Johnston of Paulsboro attempted to cross Mullica Hill Road where there are three eastbound lanes and two westbound lanes, Harrison police said.
