Union County Man, 26, Charged in Central Jersey Bar & Grill Shooting
A 26-year-old man from Union County has been arrested in connection with a shooting in South River last week, authorities said on Monday. Bryant King, 26, of Plainfield was charged on Saturday with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a handgun without a permit, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and South River Police Chief Mark Tinitigan. Ex-Con Admits Illegally Packing Revolver At Jersey Shore Hotel
A Monmouth County ex-con admitted in federal court Monday that he was illegally carrying a gun when local police stopped him outside an Eatontown hotel. Rashon Alexander, 42, of Long Branch took a plea deal from prosecutors in exchange for leniency at sentencing. Paterson Police Pursuit Ends In Fiery Crash
A driver led Paterson police on a chase that ended when his vehicle slammed into a city police cruiser, igniting a fire, and then crashed onto its side into a porch, authorities said.
