Teen Charged In Double Fatal Route 9 Crash: Prosecutor
A Howell teenager has been charged in connection with a collision that killed two teens and injured two others in Freehold Township last year, authorities said. The defendant was 17 at the time of the crash, and because of his age, his identity is being withheld, they said. He has been charged on juvenile complaints with two counts of second-degree vehicular homicide and two counts of assault by auto, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago. : 12-Year-Old Central Jersey Girl Went Missing At Shopping Mall
Police say a missing 12-year-old girl who got on a bus after a shopping mall visit has been found. "The missing juvenile has been located and she is safe. Thank you to everyone for their assistance," Freehold Township police said on Facebook. Natalee Perez got on a bus at the Freehold Raceway Mall about 7 p.m. on Friday. She returned home safely on Tuesday, police said.

Central Jersey Police Pursuit Ends In Crash, Suspects In Custody
A police pursuit in Monmouth County ended with a crash and arrest of two suspects, authorities said. A chase began about 5:30 p.m. on Friday near 326 W. Main St. in Freehold after an "unspecified incident that occurred at WalMart," initial reports said. A vehicle being pursued by Freehold Township police reportedly crashed along Route 33.
