Bicyclist, 55, Killed In Crash Near Jersey Shore Intersection: Prosecutors
A Long Branch man died after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in West Long Branch, authorities said. The 55-year-old man was killed in the crash on Saturday, Nov. 30, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release. West Long Branch police responded to the crash near the intersection of Route 36 and Monmouth Road shortly after 9 p.m. Officers found the unnamed man and paramedics rushed him to Monmouth Medical Center. 81-Year-Old Driver Suffered 'Medical Emergency' Before Fatal South Jersey Crash: Police
An 81-year-old driver from West Deptford suffered a "medical emergency" before a fatal crash, authorities said. Tannis Vanderwerken crashed into a utility pole at Grove Avenue and Woodbury Terrance in West Deptford at 5:28 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, police said. Vanderwerken was taken to Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill where she was pronounced dead, police said. The Gloucester County Medical Examiner’s Office said that Vanderwerken died as a result of injuries suffered in the collision, police said.

Charges DIsmissed Against Woman Who Lent Unlicensed Driver Car In Fatal Crash
Charges have been dismissed against a South Jersey woman accused of lending her car to an unlicensed driver who got into a fatal crash. Tisha M. Gargon’s indictment was dismissed in a pre-trial motion hearing over the objection of prosecutors, the Salem County Prosecutor's Office said.
