Atlantic City License Plate Readers Help Catch Stolen Vehicle Driver, Wanted Man: Police Atlantic City police were crediting automated license plate readers for helping arrest two men with a gun and a stolen vehicle, authorities said. Daniel Ringgold, 37, of Pennsauken, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 19, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Friday, Sept. 27. Investigators said Ringgold was driving a vehicle on Atlantic Avenue at around 5:15 p.m. when his license plate was read, triggering an alert. Ringgold had several active arrest warrants. Trenton Man Arrested For Lying About Fatal Shooting, Police Say A 23-year-old man from Trenton has been arrested for lying to police in connection with a fatal shooting, authorities said. Xzavier Williams was arrested at his Trenton residence on Tuesday by Homicide Task Force members, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. He was released on a summons pending future court proceedings.
