Man Pushing Shopping Cart Struck By Two Vehicles, Killed In South Jersey Hit-And-Run: Police A Vineland man died when he was hit by a car and an SUV while crossing a street, authorities said. Michael Cimback Jr., 72, was killed in the hit-and-run crash on Thursday, Nov. 7, the Vineland Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the wreck near the intersection of West Landis and Coney avenues at around 5:25 p.m. Investigators said a dark green Honda sedan was heading west on West Landis Avenue when the car struck Cimback while he was pushing a shopping cart across the road. Man Who Ran Cockfighting Ring With Father, Sold Meth In South Jersey Sentenced: Prosecutors A Greenwich Township man will spend at least three years in prison after leading a cockfighting ring with his father, authorities said. Jimmy Hadden, 50, was sentenced to 10 years in state prison, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a news release on Tuesday, Aug. 13. He must serve at least three-and-a-half years before he can be eligible for parole. Investigators said Hadden and Jaime Ferrer organized the illegal gambling ring involving rooster fights. Motorcyclist Ejected, Killed In Mid-Day AC Expressway Crash: Police Authorities were working to identify a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway over the weekend. The Suzuki GSXR750 rider was heading east when they struck the back of a Chevrolet Tahoe near milepost 7.8 in Egg Harbor Township around 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. The motorcyclist was ejected and killed, Marchan said. Their identity was unknown as of Sunday.
