Court documents revealed disturbing details about the abuse suffered by five girls for more than five years at the hands of the three adults they had been living within Cape May. The Department of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P) was contacted by a youth partial care program with concerns about two children living with Irene Becica, 71, Thomas Becica, 57, and Christina VonColln, 45, on Oct. 24, 2023, according to the criminal complaint obtained by Daily Voice. Ex-Ocean City Sergeant Gets 5 Years For Sexual Contact With A Child: Prosecutor
A former sergeant with the Ocean City Police Department was sentenced to five years in New Jersey State Prison for having sexual relations with a child, authorities said. Tyrone Rolls, 52, of the Marmora section of Upper Township, was sentenced on Friday, July 21, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland. Rolls also was ordered not to have any contact with the victim — who is now an adult — or the victim's family. A 42-year-old man from Cape May County has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities said. Mark Jeffrey Wieland, of the Dennisville section of Dennis Township, was charged with possession of child pornography, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland. An ex-sergeant from the Ocean City Police Department has admitted having a sexual relationship with a young girl, authorities said. Tyrone Rolls, a 51-year-old resident of Marmora, pleaded guilty on Thursday, March 2, to the charge of child endangerment, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland. A 74-year-old man from Cape May Court House has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities said. Yet another arrest has been made in the deadly H2oi meetup held last month in Wildwood and authorities say more could be on the way. Zion Diaz, of Hammonton, told others to block intersections, perform "burnouts" and block police vehicles from responding to emergency calls the night of Sept. 24, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H.
