South Jersey Man In Police Standoff Charged With Killing Another Man With Baseball Bat
The man who barricaded himself inside a Beverly City residence last week has been charged with killing a man in the home prior to the ensuing standoff with law enforcement, authorities said. Larry Brown, 27, was charged Tuesday, June 21 with murder and weapons offenses, according to Burlington County Acting Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Beverly City Public Safety Director Rich Wolbert. Brown was served with the warrant at the Prosecutor’s Office. Philly Man Gets 6 Years In NJ State Prison For Fatal High-Speed Crash On Tacony-Palmyra Bridge
A Philadelphia man who was driving at a high rate of speed on the Tacony-Palmyra bridge has been sentenced to six years in New Jersey state prison for his role in causing a five-car collision that killed one of the drivers, authorities said. Jonathan Ramos, 29, of Philadelphia pleaded guilty in July to leaving the scene of a fatal accident as well as traffic summonses for speeding and driving with a suspended license, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Philadelphia Drivers Charged In Fatal 100 MPH Race Across Tacony-Palmyra Bridge
Two men from Philadelphia have been charged with multiple offenses in connection with a fatal high speed hit-and-run crash on the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, authorities said.
