Mr. Clarkin was born in Levittown, Pennsylvania, but spent most of his life in Brick, his obituary says.  He worked as a plumber for 35 years.  Robert enjoyed helping others and was always there when someone needed him. Officers were able to view surveillance footage of a male subject who leaned over the cashier counter and grabbed a large brown box and exited the store, she said.
