Body Found Floating In NJ River
Police recovered a body from a New Jersey river early Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said. Marine Service Troopers were dispatched to the Raritan River and South River in East Brunswick around 7:40 a.m., where they found a man's body floating in the water, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. No further information was provided. The incident remains under investigation.

Body Recovered From Delaware & Raritan Canal In Mercer County
First responders were pulling a body from the Delaware & Raritan Canal in Mercer County on Wednesday afternoon, July 3, authorities said. New Jersey State Park Police and the Trenton Fire Department’s Water Rescue Team were called to a part of the canal in Lawrence Township to recover the body, according to Caryn Shinske, a spokeswoman with the state Department of Environmental Protection. A medical examiner was en route to the scene at 2:15 p.m., she said. Additional details weren’t immediately available.

Search For Body Underway At Delaware River In Trenton:

Emergency crews are attempting to recover a body from the Delaware River in Trenton, developing reports say. The local fire department was called to assist with the recovery effort near Lambert Street shortly before 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The body was seen about 30 feet from the ramp in the Delaware River, the initial report says. Authorities did not immediately return DailyVoice.com’s request for additional details. Body Pulled From Passaic River
Responders recovered a man's body from the Passaic River Wednesday afternoon. Passaic police notified surrounding agents of the body first seen floating south of the Monroe Street Bridge around 4 p.m., Garfield Police Chief Raymond Kovach said. Garfield and Passaic police were among the initial responders. Garfield Fire Department's Marine 3 Unit launched from Wallington for the recovery, Kovach said.
