Police in Camden County are on the lookout for a suspicious man who approached a girl in his car while she was walking home from school. On Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 11:45 a.m., police got a complaint about the man, Gloucester Township police said. The girl was walking from Triton High School. She traveled down Evesham Road and the Black Horse Pike southbound towards Station Avenue. A Philadelphia man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a police chase in Camden County, authorities said. On Thursday, May 18, at approximately 7:10 pm, Gloucester Township police were alerted to a possible impaired driver operating a small red sport utility vehicle with heavy front end damage, police said. An additional caller reported that the driver struck a vehicle on Bethany Lane, they said. South Jersey Police Arrest Suspected Hit-Run Driver
Police in Gloucester Township have arrested a suspected hit-and-run driver, authorities said The fatal crash occurred on Monday, Nov. 7, at approximately 10:28 p.m. in the 800 block of the Black Horse Pike. Police found a pedestrian, Elaine J. Hubler, 58, of Hilltop, laying in the roadway. It was determined she was attempting to cross the roadway when the driver of a dark-colored vehicle struck her. Police in South Jersey talked a woman out of jumping off an overpass, authorities said. On Tuesday, July 26, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Gloucester Township Police Emergency Communications Center received several 9-1-1 calls reporting a female who appeared to be preparing to jump off the Route 42 south overpass at exit 10A.
