Tanker Truck Overturns On I-295 Curve In Camden County
Good Samaritans stopped to help a tanker truck that overturned on I-295 North in Bellmawr on Saturday, Jan. 25. One driver called 9-1-1 just after 12:40 p.m., when the driver lost control while navigating a curve at milepost 27, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and overturn, according to New Jersey State Police and Daily Voice sources. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, authorities said. The crash is under investigation, and no additional details were immediately available.

Firefighters from multiple departments in South Jersey battled an apartment fire, authorities said. On Tuesday, July 30, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Gloucester Township Police Officers were dispatched to 1341 Blackwood Clementon Road, Millbridge Apartments, Building 900, in response to a reported apartment fire. The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 on the southbound ramp to Exit 26S in Bellmawr, according to NJDOT. Based on a preliminary investigation, a Honda was traveling southbound on I-295. For seven hours, the man stood on the ledge of the I-295 overpass, closing Route 42 below in both directions on Thursday afternoon, April 4 near Exit 14.
