Recall Of 11.7M Pounds Of Meat, Poultry: List Released Of NJ Schools That Received Products
A preliminary list has been released of schools that received items that were part of a nationwide recall of millions of pounds of meat and poultry products over fears they may be contaminated with Listeria. The initial recall involving the manufacturer, Bruce Pac, was for 9,986,245 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) products sold at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Trader Joe's, 7-Eleven, Aldi, and other stores. Convenience store chain 7-Eleven is closing hundreds of stores in North America. Parent company Seven & I Holdings said that the 444 locations were “underperforming.” They make up about 3 percent of 7-Eleven's total of around 13,000 outlets in the US, Canada, and Mexico. A Mercer County man was accused of robbing two 7-Eleven convenience stores in the same township, authorities said. Bobbyjean Orak, 29, of Hamilton Township, was charged with second-degree robbery and criminal attempted robbery, and two counts of fourth-degree theft. An Ocean County man was accused of trying to rob a convenience store and someone in a parking lot, authorities said. Mark Stackhouse, 30, of Tuckerton, was arrested on Saturday, Apr. 6, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. He was charged with two counts of robbery. Skimming ATM 7-Eleven
A skimming device was found on an automatic teller machine at 7-Eleven in Burlington County, authorities said. It was found by a customer at the convenience store on Route 130 on Monday, April 1, Cinnaminson police said. A review of surveillance footage revealed the device was placed on the ATM at 9:21 p.m. on March 22, Cinnaminson police said. Skimmers are card readers designed to look like a part of the ATM. A man and two boys were accused of robbing another boy late at night, authorities said.
