3 Arrested, Handguns Recovered In Atlantic City Sweep Members of the Atlantic City Police Department’s Special Investigations Section conducted two separate investigations that resulted in the recovery of two handguns and the arrest of three. At 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, detectives detained a 16-year-old juvenile in the 600 block of north New York Avenue. He was found to be in possession of a handgun loaded with hollow point bullets, police said. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with weapons offenses.
