Brandon T. Russell, 20, was charged with weapons offenses and receiving stolen property, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Willingboro Township Acting Public Safety Director Captain Ian S. Bucs.

Zhamar Duncan, 21, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, they said.

Russell was taken into custody at the residence in the first block of Haskell Lane, Willingboro, where a .40 caliber handgun, hollow point bullets and an extended ammunition magazine were discovered during the execution of a search warrant. The handgun was found to be stolen out of North Carolina.

Duncan was arrested in Burlington Township with a loaded 9 mm handgun in his possession.

They were being held in Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly.

“These arrests demonstrate the determination by law enforcement agencies to work cooperatively to attack gun violence and create safer neighborhoods for our residents,” Bradshaw said. “This will remain a top priority in Burlington County.”
