Crews were responding to three boats on fire after an explosion at a marina in Keyport, officials said. The fire broke out at Brown's Point Marina on Monday, Sept. 9, Keyport's emergency management office said in a Facebook post at 3:53 p.m. Residents were asked to avoid the area near the West Front Street facility. An Atlantic City man was accused of forcing his way into a woman's home and assaulting her, authorities said. Jerome Younger, 38, was arrested, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Sept 9. Two people were rescued from a sailboat caught in choppy waves at night off the coast of Brigantine, officials said. An Eatontown man was accused of stabbing a Virginia man during a fight at a Wall Township motel, authorities said. Geraldo Voglino, 37, was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 8, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release. Sidewalk Save: Bodycam Footage Shows NJ Officers Saving Choking Baby
Newly-released body-worn camera footage shows two New Jersey police officers saving a choking baby. Hightstown Officers Daniel Abbatemarco and Kenneth Larsen responded to a call of a choking baby girl on March 31. Upon arrival, they were met by a man holding the girl. Larsen arrived on scene and quickly performed the Infant Heimlich Maneuver on the girl, who was breathing again in a matter of seconds. A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed and a 49-year-old dirt bike operator was seriously injured in a crash Sunday, Sept. 8 on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River, authorities said. Antonio Caprara, 26, of Beachwood, was heading south on the right shoulder while Lenny Ritorto, of Toms River, was heading south on the acceleration lane from the Exit 81 entrance ramp when the two collided near milepost 81.7 around 1 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt.
