Thief Breaks Into Rutgers Dorm Rooms To Steal From Sleeping Students, Police Say Rutgers University police were investigating two attempted burglaries in a dorm on the New Brunswick campus, authorities said. The burglary attempts happened inside Clothier Residence Hall between 4 and 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, campus police said in a Facebook post. The dorm is at 590 George Street on the College Avenue campus. The first witness reported seeing the suspect try to steal a valuable item from the witness's sleeping roommate.
