Clifton Officer Hospitalized After Crash En Route To Crime Scene: Authorities A Clifton police officer en route to a crime was hospitalized following a collision between a police cruiser and a civilian vehicle on Tuesday, Jan. 7, authorities confirmed. The crash occurred at 11:24 a.m. at the intersection of Broad Street and Van Houten Avenue, Clifton Police Lt. Robert Anderson said. According to Lt.
