Car Slams Into Tree in Bloomfield, Leaving Two In Critical Condition: Authorities
Two people are in critical condition after a car crashed into a tree in Bloomfield on the evening of Sunday, Nov. 17, authorities said. At 10 p.m., a 2024 silver Acura Integra struck the tree at John F. Kennedy Drive North and Spruce Street, a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. The driver and the three passengers were transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said. Authorities are investigating a DUI crash in Kearny that left a Pennsylvania man critically injured and resulted in the arrest of a Jersey City driver, authorities said. ID Of Tow Truck Operator Killed By Passing Car On Route 19 Released
A tow truck operator was killed by a passing vehicle on Route 19 over the weekend, authorities said. Manuel Perez, 64, was trying to hook another vehicle to his truck on the southbound side of the highway when he was struck by a Toyota sedan that then struck the tow truck and overturned around 11:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3 at milepost 2-3, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Support is on the rise for an 18-year-old North Jersey high school soccer captain who sustained multiple broken bones in a crash last month. Molly Mack, the captain of the Whippany High School girls team, was identified by the team's booster club as the person seriously injured in the Sunday, Oct. 27 crash between two SUVs on Route 24 in Florham Park, as previously reported by Daily Voice.
