Woman, 78, Struck By Pickup, Killed In South Jersey Crash: Police
An Egg Harbor Township woman was killed while crossing a road on Veterans Day, authorities said. Sharon Parker, 78, died in the crash on Monday, Nov. 11, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to Tilton Road near the intersection with Goldenrod Lane at around 5:59 p.m. Investigators said a 2015 Ford F-150 was traveling north on Tilton Road. PA Man Killed, Driver Airlifted In Crash On Jersey Shore Road: Troopers
A northeast Pennsylvania man was dead and another man was airlifted after a head-on crash on the Jersey Shore, officials said. Thomas Grau, 55, of Falls, PA, died in the crash in Dennis Township on Tuesday, Oct. 15, a New Jersey State Police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene on Route 47 South just south of Tyler Road near milepost 18.8. at around 12:28 p.m. Investigators said Grau was driving north in a Toyota Prius when he crossed the center line and struck an oncoming Nissan Pathfinder. Tesla Driver Killed In Fiery South Jersey Crash, Police Say
A Tesla driver was killed in an early morning crash near Mays Landing, authorities said. Hamilton Township police responded to the single-car wreck on Mays Landing Somers Point Road near the intersection with Ocean Heights Avenue at around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18. Investigators said a 2024 Tesla SUV Model Y left the road, crashed into several trees, and caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. An Atlantic County high school football player is battling a rare form of pediatric cancer, according to a fundraising campaign. A GoFundMe page was created for a boy named Chris who's a junior at Pinelands Regional High School in Little Egg Harbor Township. Chris plays football for the Pinelands Wildcats and also is a player in the South Jersey Flag Football Association. Chris was recently diagnosed with stage three rhabdomyosarcoma.
