Missing Man Found Dead In NJ, Fundraiser Confirms
Thomas Mauch, a 34-year-old Berkeley Heights resident who was reported missing last week, has died, according to a fundraiser established Wednesday, Oct. 8.
Berkeley Heights police said Mauch was located Tuesday, Oct. 7, but did not provide additional details.
Mauch is being remembered by his family as a devoted husband and loving father, son, brother and friend who loved the New Jersey Devils.

Beloved Jersey Shore Bartender Dies: Remembering Jimmy Hughes
James "Jimmy" Hughes, a bartender at Klee's Bar and Grill in Seaside Heights died on Thursday, Oct. 2, the restaurant announced.
Hughes died surrounded by his family, the restaurant said.
"Jimmy was a valued server and bartender at both Klee’s and Henry’s over the past few years, and he brought warmth, kindness, and laughter to so many," the restaurant said. "This sudden loss has deeply affected our entire Klee’s and Henry’s family. We will miss him dearly."
Henry's at Klee's was closed Thursday and Friday, Oct. 3 to give staff time to grieve, though Klee's remains open.

Teen’s Sudden Death Due To Seizure Disorder Leaves NJ Community Heartbroken
Support is on the rise following the death of a 14-year-old New Jersey boy.
Nicholas M. Leonor, 14, of Somers Point, died Friday, Sept. 19, at home from a seizure disorder, according to his obituary from Wimberg Funeral Home.

NJ Dad, 36, Dies Suddenly, Leaves Pregnant Wife, Young Son
The Brick Township community is mourning the sudden loss of local dad Matthew Michael Matera, who died unexpectedly at his home on Sept. 10, according to his obituary from the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home. He was 36.
Matera was born in Point Pleasant and spent his childhood in Cape Coral, FL, before returning to New Jersey, where he built a life with his wife, Jen, according to his obituary. Together, they were raising their 2½-year-old son, Matthew James “MJ,” and were expecting their second son this November, his obituary reads.

A New Jersey mother and grandmother died Monday, Sept. 8, after 17 days in the hospital following a sudden brain aneurysm, her loved ones said. She was 39 years old.
A native of Brazil, Poliana Pires Coelho lived in Newark's Ironbound section and was a devoted single mother to daughters Ana Luisa, 21, Ana Beatriz, 9, and Ana Liz, 3, according to a GoFundMe launched by Richard Arruda in the wake of her death.
She was also a grandmother to Matthew, 11 months, and Luca, 3. Her children will now be raised by her parents, Eder and Iraides, the campaign says.

Michael Anthony Fisher, Jr., a Bordentown resident, died on Wednesday, Aug. 6, nine days before his 21st birthday on Aug. 15, after he was hit by someone making an illegal turn while he was riding his motorcycle home, his family said.
According to Levittown Now, a 21-year-old Morrisville, PA woman was turning left form West Trenton Avenue onto Pine Grove Road in Morrisville when she struck Fisher on a Lawasaki street bike, traveling in the opposite direction.

Joseph LeViness, a 29-year-old Brown Mills resident, died after battling single ventricle congenital heart disease and living with protein-losing enteropathy on Tuesday, Aug. 5, according to a fundraiser launched for his family.
A lifelong Brown Mills resident, LeViness was a volunteer firefighter and also worked as a military contractor, according to his obituary from the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals website.

Jersey Shore Electrician Killed In Parkway Crash After Striking Tree: Njsp
A 48-year-old Tuckerton man was killed in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in Galloway, authorities announced Friday, Aug. 1.
On Friday, July 25 at 12:12 a.m., a Toyota passenger vehicle operated by Frank Ippolito was traveling south on the Garden State Parkway when it lost directional control, exited the roadway and crashed into a tree, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said.
Ippolito was pronounced dead at the scene, Lebron said.
