Motorcyclist Killed In Late Night Crash In Washington Township, State Police Say A Lanoka Harbor man died when his motorcycle crashed late at night in Burlington County, authorities said. Andrew Uveges, 31, was killed in the wreck on County Route 542 in Washington Township on Sunday, Aug. 25, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene near milepost 14.8 at around 9:58 p.m. Investigators said Uveges was riding west on a Harley-Davidson when his motorcycle went off the road to the right and overturned.  Uveges was ejected from the motorcycle and hit a tree. On Tuesday, July 23, Christopher Fuscellaro of Mantua Township was arrested and charged with theft, theft by deception and being an unlicensed contractor, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office. Raising Cane's, which has over 600 locations, will be opening soon in Washington Township at the site of a former Pep Boy's at Black Horse Pike near Ganttown Road.  Demolition crews are at the site demolishing the old Pep Boys building, Washington Township police said. Raising Cane's Garden State locations include West Cherry Hill, West Marlton, Deptford and Burlington. An opening date has not been announced.

John and Patrick Mahoney, both of Washington Township, died in a collision on Tuesday, June 4 at Union and Mays Landing Roads, as previously reported by Daily Voice.  Police said John was driving a Toyota Yaris when he failed to yield to a Ford F-250 operated by an 81-year-old, which caused the crash.
