Authorities investigated a large scale narcotics operation in Pemberton late last year, finding that William Anderson, a 60-year-old Brown Mills man, was trafficking substantial quantities of heroin, methamphetamine, and cocaine, with David Furter, a 61-year-old Palmyra resident serving as a key supplier of bulk methamphetamine, New York State Police said.  Law enforcement saw Furter place a red bag into a mailbox at 1495 Junction Rd, police said. Child Struck By Car In Pemberton: Police A child was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Pemberton on the morning of Friday, Feb. 7, authorities said. At 7:28 a.m., officers responded to Rancocas Lane and Weymouth Road for a crash involving a pedestrian, Pemberton police said. The juvenile was struck when the vehicle was attempting to make a left turn on Rancocas Lane, police said. The juvenile sustained an injury to her leg and was transported to Cooper University Medical Center for further treatment, police said. The incident remains under investigation, police said.

Jennifer Okoro-Ibiam, 42, of Pemberton, died in the Warren County crash in Queensbury, on Monday, Nov. 18, New York State Police said in a news release. Gladerby Bredy was found lying along the south shoulder of Arney’s Mount Road in Pemberton after being struck by a vehicle just after 10:40 p.m., Chief Jon Glass said. Bredy had been heading west on North Pemberton Road when he was struck by a southbound vehicle on Arney's Mount Road, Glass said.
