: Ex-UConn Hoops Star Charged With Mom's Florida Killing, Sheriff Says
Former UConn basketball standout Eric Cobb has been arrested in his mother's murder in Florida, officials announced Tuesday, Feb. 11. The 28-year-old former athlete was taken into custody after officers responded to a disturbing scene on 15th Street West in the Mid-Westside area, the sheriff's office said. Officers arrived to find 51-year-old Erika Winford unresponsive, wrapped in a blanket and towels in the backyard. She had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Woman, 26, Killed Pedestrian In South Jersey Hit-And-Run: Police
A Vineland woman was accused of killing a Turnersville man in a Gloucester County hit-and-run crash, authorities said. Destiny Esquilin, 26, was charged with second-degree leaving the scene of a fatal crash, the Washington Township Police Department said in a news release on Thursday, Nov. 21. She was wanted in the crash that killed 58-year-old John DeMarco on Monday, Nov. 4. New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson visited Back Bay Ale House in Atlantic City on Monday, July 1, the pub said in a Facebook post.
